Hope Beyond Despair's Story

How it started: Patricia started it as a community project after she saw a need to support people in her community. The focus is to empower victims of gender-based violence. The goal is to help children in rural areas who think that they can not achieve much. The project focuses on restoring dignity, and hope and making the seemingly impossible possible.

How does Patricia make a difference?

  • Patricia wanted to see the “boy and girl” children reach their potential despite limited resources. Her NPO also empowers girls from the rural community to play soccer and be selected to represent the Provincial Soccer team.

Which Community Project is closest to Patricia’s heart?

  • Patricia gives back to the community by dedicating her time and the resources she has. She  also teaches the children Soccer and Skills through specific development focuses.

What support does Patricia need?

Volunteers giving their time and skills

As an NPO using talents in sports to help the girl-child and other young people esape from social vices and delinquencies, we solicit for volunteers who can give their time and skills to help us in training and equipping these kids.

Donations for soccer equipment

We also need funding to acquire equipment and materials for training both on the pitch and in-class sessions.
